Located on the north side of Prospect Avenue on the west side of shared concrete driveway with 1762, 1762 ½, and 1803 Grand Avenue the flag lot is developed with two units, including a one-story wood frame cottage and a two-story house. Both buildings are set on raised foundation. The cottages employ an unusual construction technique, with their unfinished redwood framing exposed on the exterior and the siding applied to the inner surface of the framing to form the interior wall surface. Single-story Craftstman style house clad in wide horizontal board. Shallow pitched side gable roof is covered in composition shingles. Deep eaves are supported by knee braces. Large shed roof runs the length of the south elevation (entry to house). Porch partially enclosed by wall comprised of horizontal wood board that runs the length of the porch. Fenstration cannot be determined. A detached two-story garage and lving space (built in 1989) is located to the rear of the lot at the southwest corner of the property.

Located on the east side of Olive Street this parcel is developed with a two level wood frame house. Sheathed in stucco and capped by a side gable roof covered in terra cotta tiles, this house is a modest example of the Mediterranean style. The house’s street façade (west elevation) is built about three feet from the sidewalk; because of the steeply sloping lot the rear elevation rises to a height of two stories.
